Shameless, shameless, shameless!
Like I said, what's the point in having a blog if you don't use it for shameless self promotion?
Here's another review of THE DELTA, this time from the very astute Mr Jeff Popple of the Canberra Times (oh, and Jeff, if you think this one was a bit long, wait until you see Novel Number 8 - it's about 60,000 words longer than THE DELTA. Yikes!)

Hope you had fun on Friday.
have to fork out $6 for a new scrap book now
I didn't think it was too long at all - it was an engrossing tale & seemed to come to an end all too quickly....
I'm just delighted it selling so well for you, TP, and it's not even close to Father's Day yet! It will walk off the bookselves (especially for the Big W special and with the continued airplay of your TV ad)when people seriously look for Father's Day gifts.
I'm just so sorry that the lion on the cover had to be (pictorially) castrated for sensitive sensibilities. There's some sort of reverse link between a lion with no family jewels and Father's Day, but i can't quite put it together. TP, you're the writer; you put it togther!
Really enjoyed your talk and meeting you at Narellan Library. Please keep your fabulous books coming - I know what you mean about Africa being an addiction. Personally I am not interested in reading much else except stories set in Africa.
