On the road again...

...just can't wait to get on the road again...

So that's where I'm a-headed, courtesy of the Upper Murray Regional Library, on board its mobile library to:

15th of April -
Tangambalanga 10.30am-12pm,
Eskdale 1.15pm-3.30pm, Dartmouth 4.30pm-5.30pm
Speaking at the Mitta Hotel from 7.30pm onwards

16th of April -
Mitta 9am-12pm
Yackandandah 2pm-3.30pm

If you've never heard of these places and don't know where they are, don't worry - I don't either. However, I am looking forward to seeing all of these towns and meeting all of the mobile library users.

I am something of a guinea pig - apparently the first writer to go on the road with the library bus. I'll let you know how it goes.

Should be fun! I have always found the people living in the bush are a lovable lot, take plenty of aspirin.

Thanks Dok. This will be the first time I've ever spoken in a pub before. Could be dangerous.

I know Yackendandah from a terrific range of gluten free sauces.

The Clunes book festival is coming up next month. They have Australian authors as guest speakers.

Perhaps your publicity team could look into it for next year?

Live long and prosper.

Is the 'library bus' a euphemism for the 'short bus'? ;)

I've heard you talk in pubs plenty of times. Not coherently very often.

Re The Barman's comment? Amen. Am tempted to say "you should talk" but will save it.

Instead, going for the Shrek option: As far as talking in a pub goes? Shutting Tony up would be the problem.

(Yes, you'd need to watch as many Pixar movies as I have to, to really get the joke).
